摘要
The new scenarios produced by external events have affected the development of training processes in Higher Education Institutions, in this sense, when generating a drastic change in the way of imparting teaching processes, the use of digital media becomes important to be able to carry out these activities, in this sense it is required that the university teacher has the basic skills and competencies for their development, therefore, the objective is to establish how the virtual competencies of the teachers allow to mitigate the effects produced by the Covid-19 pandemic. In Higher Education Institutions in Ecuador, which was developed through the theoretical analysis of the object of study and experiences evidenced during the pandemic. The result of this was to establish the existing relationship between ICT information and communication technologies applied to TAC knowledge and TEP participatory environment technologies, which must progressively be strengthened to obtain adoption, adaptation, appropriation and innovation skills.
