AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY AND FISHING SECTOR PROFITABILITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

The paper discusses the profitability of Section A - Agriculture, forestry and fishing in the Republic of Serbia. The aim of this research is revealing crucial tendencies of this Section's profitability. In order to determine whether there is a difference between this Section's enterprises and entrepreneurs regarding profitability, these two groups of entities were separately analyzed over the six-year period (2013-2018). The analysis was conducted on the basis of Financial Statements Annual Bulletins published by the Serbian Business Registers Agency. These aggregated information contents were used to analyze and compare dynamically the profitability of Section A in the Republic of Serbia. The research results show that there is a difference in the profitability between the enterprises and the entrepreneurs in this Section.
