摘要：
We obtain the modified Manakov system with a self-consistent source related to the 3 x 3 matrix spectral problem of Wadati-Konno-Ichikawa type. This system may be relevant for the description of the femtosecond light pulse propagation in a medium with both resonant and cubic nonlinearities, where the pulse has two components of different polarizations.
