摘要
Recent calls for instructional innovation in undergraduate education highlight the need for students to have a solid foundation which will enable them to become active lifelong learners. We must not only help students develop content knowledge, but also a relevant skill set which will assist them in future learning situations. This paper details how an undergraduate research model can be used to reinforce prerequisite knowledge, develop strong Consumer Behavior knowledge and strengthen students, skill set, such as oral and written communication skills, team skills, analytical reasoning and critical thinking, and technological proficiency.
