摘要
The adjusted synchronous reactance method has traditionally been used for prediction of field current and load angle steady state operation of turboalternators particularly those with negligible saliency. In this method saturation is associated with the air gap reactance. This paper notes that saturation in the stator is dependent,on the total stator flux while that in the rotor is dependent on net rotor flux. An alternate equivalent circuit model is proposed in which these effects are represented separately. The results for these two models are compared with load measurements. For most load conditions both models give good results with a small advantage in angle accuracy for the proposed model. For highly inductive and capacitive loads there is however a considerable difference.
