摘要
Influence of material and welding parameters on the fatigue strength of welded components of the bus structure. Experimental investigations on thin-walled, hollow-sectioned profiles joined together by fillet welds were performed to evaluate the influence of material and manufacturing parameters on the fatigue life of the failure-critical welds. Various materials and welding parameters were combined. The results were statistically analyzed, and the Wohler curves under fully reversed bend loading were determined for various probabilities of survival. The results indicate an influence of the welding parameters on the fatigue life. The influence of the material is of almost no significance. The fatigue life scatter lies within common values reported in the literature.
