摘要
The UV-Vis results regarding the estimation of an antioxidant, 21 In mercaptobenzimidazole (MB) used in the manufacture of industrial rubber,. by derivative spectrophotometry are presented. Derivative spectrophotometry has been applied for the elimination of the mutual interference of sonic additives in the MB estimation. The second derivative spectrum has proved to be useful to determine MB in presence of the other polymer additives. The spectrophotometric method has been applied for MB estimation in ternary synthetic mixtures of rubber additives and in rubber samples.
