摘要
In the present paper we describe a novel approach for DNA microarray reading. We used an intensified CCD camera with picosecond time resolution either for single shot image acquisition or for time resolved measurements. We characterized the time resolution of the system. Then, we demonstrated that two fluorescent markers used for oligonucleotide labeling can be discriminated in the time domain instead of the spectral one. Finally, we applied our system to read a PNA microarray. (C) 1999 Optical Society of America.
