摘要：

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), accepted increasingly in Supply Chain Management (SCM), faces a puzzle of unstable inventory demand. First, the familiar forecast models based on time series for controlling inventory demand are reviewed and the main problems are pointed out. Second, the model based on calamity grey prediction is introduced in detail to solve the problems. Lastly, a case is given for relevant analysis and for evaluation of the model.
