摘要
Two hundred and eight women with stage II disease, who underwent surgery between 1980 and 1995 in 5 different Ob/Gyn department, were retrospectively reviewed. 135 (64%) underwent total abdominal hysterectomy and 73 (36%) radical hysterectomy. 66/111 (59%) of stage IIA and 67/92 (73%) of stage IIB underwent adjuvant radiation therapy. Actuarial survival rate for stage IIA and IIB endometrial cancer patients was 86% and 74% at 5 years, 82% and 68% at 10 years respectively. Survival rate by surgical procedure was 79% in the simple hysterectomy group and 94% in the radical hysterectomy one at 5 years, 74% and 94% respectively at 10 years. The difference did show a trend but it was not statistically significant (P=0.085). Overall survival rate by adjuvant treatment did not show any statistically significant difference between the observation and the adjuvant therapy group.
