摘要
Ferroresonance is a complicated electrical phenomenon, and it is a great threat to the security of the power system. The basic ferroresonance circuit constructs a nonlinear dynamical system. In this paper, the elementary concepts of nonlinear dynamics such as the phase plane, the Poincare section and the Lyapunov index are applied to analyze the ferroresonance in a typical 110kV substation. The fundamental resonance, the subharmonic resonance and the chaotic resonance of the system are discussed in the paper. On the base of the nonlinear dynamical theory, the characters of various resonance types can be directly exhibited. The proper control strategy for the ferroresonance prediction and suppression can be efficiently applied according to its types.
