摘要
The participation of governments in the development of social responsibility actions focused on expectations that citizens are demanding. The objective of this study is to analyze how the citizens of the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco, perceives the social responsibility of the municipal government. Analyzing it from two dimensions: the services that local governemnt grants to the citizenship from a public good perspective and the non-excludable goods; and how the municipal government take care of the environment. The study was directed to the citizens of Villahermosa segmenting them by age ranges according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report (GEM, 2015). The analysis of the results was made using descriptive statistics, contingency tables and bivariate correlations. The results show that the general public perceives the care of the environment as an element of primary obligation of the municipal government, but there are shortcomings in the procurement of public services and in the care of natural resources, just as it identifies that the responsibility social is a factor that the government must establish to care for and preserve natural resources. Furthermore, the relationship between the environment and public and non-excludable goods granted by the government correlates positively and significantly with the perception of the social responsibility of the government and the role with citizens.
