摘要
The explosive acceleration technology is a kind of technologies that directly or indirectly use the explosive energy to get the hypervelocity particles, is one of the widely used technology among hypervelocity projectiles driven ones. In this paper the author improves an hypervelocity projectiles, enlarges the cavity between explosives and projectiles. The detonation products would expand freely for a while, though this procedure to push projectiles avoiding spallation or serious damage. The author uses experiments and the finite element software AUTODYN-2D numerical simulation to test the acceleration capability of this device. The experimental and the numerical simulation results are almost the same. It can make the 5.5g spherical projectiles get the speed of 2500 m/s. The experimental results show that the selection of the parameter and structure of the numerical simulation are workable. Thus can reach the aim of optimizing structural design and improving the projectiles speed. The experimental and numerical simulation studies provide the technical foundation for the follow-up study.
