Energy management waste management. Programmes and initiatives for energy conservation and waste recycling

Legislation on the environment involving energy and waste reduction initiated by the European Commission and enacted by the UK Parliament will begin to take a stronger holden industry. Environmental protection and packaging waste place additional burdens on manufacturers which may include cost penalties. The government is addressing these areas in different ways: energy efficiency and waste management are supported by best practice programmes; packaging waste has been handed back to the producers fillers and retailers to sort out some fair and equitable shave of the costs.
