摘要：
The title compound, C21H18O2S, was synthesized by the reaction of thiophene-2-carbaldehyde with acetophenone and NaOH. All bond lengths and angles show normal values. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-(HO)-O-... hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces.
