摘要
Parasitic optical phenomena limit power scaling in optical fiber lasers. These phenomena include stimulated Brillouin scattering, stimulated Raman scattering, nonlinear refractive index (n(2))-related wave-mixing phenomena (e.g., four wave mixing), and transverse mode instability (TMI).
