摘要
In the developed deregulated electricity market scenario due to the increase in load demand, fast and accurate assessment of dynamic stability constrained available transfer capability is needed to carry out the efficient and reliable electricity power transaction in the transmission network. This paper address the above issue by makes use of support vector regression (SVR) approach to determine the transient stability based dynamic available transfer capability (DATC). The Potential Energy Boundary Surface (PEBS) transient energy function method of stability analysis based on the computation of energy margin is used as the conventional method for determining dynamic available transfer capability. The conventional method consumes longer computational time since it repeats the transient stability analysis many times. To overcome the computational difficulty of conventional method, SVR technique for determining more reasonable accuracy of DATC with less computational time is proposed in this paper. The proposed SVR based DATC assessment is simulated with WSCC 3-machine 9-bus system and it is validated by comparing with the multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPNN).
