摘要
Data from 7,329 lactation records of 1,033 Chios ewes from the Agricultural Research Station of Chalkidiki were fitted in a non-linear model, the parameters of which were estimated using an iterative procedure of non-linear regression. The estimated parameters were: a=657.81+/-17.77, b=1.04+/-0.015 and c=0.03+/-0.087. In addition, an analysis of variance showed that lactation number, litter size and season of lambing had a significant influence on the shape of the lactation curve. Lactation curves were plotted for each group and the total milk yield in any stage of the lactation period was calculated.
