摘要
The development of stealth technology and anti-stealth technology relies on the research of targets electromagnetic scattering characteristics. The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of complex targets vary from different electromagnetic environment. Broad band and variable polarization technology are combined in this paper to obtain more detailed information of the targets, including high resolution range profile, two-dimensional image and polarization decomposition information based on full polarimetric scattering matrix. This combination has great research value in the field of target identification, radar imaging, precision guided and so on. Two-dimensional high resolution range imaging not only give the radial description of targets but also has the high resolution ability in the transverse direction, combined with variable polarization technology, more detailed information of the targets are obtained. Based on W band, numerical simulations of target's multi-points scattering model are presented and the images of tank model are obtained. Comparing to single-polarimetric imaging, with the methods provided in the paper, scattering centers are more completed and the outline of tank model is clearer. The experimental results proved that two-dimensional imaging with the advantage of full-polarization technology has higher resolution and SNR, which has great research value in the field of target identification, classification and so on.
