摘要
Recently, the main role of Surfactant proteins A and D (SP-A and SP-D) are thought to be in the innate immunity at the level of the alveolus. We investigated whether SP-A and SP-D were expressed in the rat Eustachian tube and middle ear with otitis media. Immunostaining showed that SPA and SP-D were present in surface epithelial cells of the middle ear and Eustachian tube. The cell surface expression of SP-A and SP-D increased with otitis media compared to without otitis media. SP-A and SP-D may play an important role for the anti body-in dependent protection in the middle car and Eustachian tube.
