摘要：
The political partners of the new coalition federal government in Germany have agreed on the founding of a new Institute for Quality in Medicine based on a law regulating more transparency in the quality assessment of hospitals. How can such an institute find its place in the already existing diverse landscape of quality control and quality management in the German health care system?.
