A review with 17 refs. covering mineral and polymeric binders, filters, modifiers (thickeners, setting time regulators, plasticizers, hydrophobic, air-entraining agents, defoamers) and pigments. Nowadays modified formulated dry-mix mortars become inseparable part of the modem building technologies and practice. Currently development In the construction materials Industry concerns the use of additives and polymeric binders in order to Improve technical properties of mortars, mainly the cement-based.
