摘要
The use of organic fertilizers has positive effects on physicochemical soil properties such as those related to its ability to supply nitrogen and other nutrients to vegetable crops. Therefore, this study tries to reflect the positive effects of organic fertilization on the physicochemical properties of a soil which was previously fertilized with mineral products. The farm being studied is located in the University School of Agricultural Engineers (INEA) in Valladolid. Such irrigated farm was transformed to organic farming in 2006 and the soil and its improvements were taken as our main objective. The analyzed data correspond to three different smallholdings within INEA's farm. Starting data correspond with mineral fertilizers applied in a conventional techniques way for the three plots. The organic fertilization began with ecological farming techniques in 2006 Results indicate a clear increase in organic matter and nutrients throughout the studied period, showing an improvement of soil under organic management.
