摘要
An effort to extend a Data Warehouse methodology that suitable to organize environments has been done and it is also present strategy of integration metadata management. The proposed methodology, called RK-X Meta is an extension to Ralph Kimball Methodology [2] combine with X-Meta methodology [1]. In RK-X Meta the ETL design activity and iterative product selection is explored, so these two components can be integrated into the methodology in order to give the opportunity of ETL design process control and product choosing iteration to take part in the data warehouse methodology phase. Design RK-X Meta show how metadata track and management could be applied and performed so the data definition reporting and impact analysis participation can be planned Further test activity of the RK-X Meta methodology should be planned to prove the design.
