摘要
Operational effectiveness is one of the most important warrants for weapons and equipment systems demonstration & design, while simulation is a key method to assess operational effectiveness. Operational effectiveness simulation relies on simulation environments to develop a large quantity of simulation applications. Current simulation environments are always developed with generic programming languages and lack of extensibility to reuse in different domains. A simulation model framework describes all kinds of simulation models and their relationships in a simulation system. So generating simulation environment from a model framework is a more effective method to develop simulation environments and applications. The simulation modeling specification SMP2 (Simulation Modeling Portability Standards 2) provides platform independent descriptions of model frameworks as catalogue files. So in this paper, a domain-neutral SMP2-based effectiveness simulation environment is designed to provide generic simulation functions. And the mechanism to integrate a domain-specific simulation model framework into the domain-independent effectiveness simulation environment is proposed to generate a domain-specific effectiveness simulation environment automatically.
