Research on the development and tendency of intelligent fault diagnosis systems

摘要
The emergency of fault diagnosis expert systems is one of the most remarkable successes in the fault diagnosis field. This paper, firstly, introduces the current development condition in the fault diagnosis expert systems based on the shallow and deep knowledge. Then, some widespread problems which are present in existing diagnosis systems are analyzed in detail from the angle of knowledge representation. At last, on the basis of the above discussion, the authors state the new direction and tendency synthetically in intelligent fault diagnosis systems, and some new methods to overcome the weaknesses of traditional intelligent fault diagnosis systems are expounded.
