摘要
Two series of segmented copolymers containing star-shaped poly(-caprolactone) (PCL) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) blocks were synthesized following a three step route. The copolymers were made using oxalyl chloride as linker molecule. Star-shaped PCL was synthesized using pentaerythritol (PTOL) as initiator and stannous octate as catalyst. Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (H-1 NMR) techniques demonstrate that the synthesis of star-shaped PCL-PEG copolymers was carried out successfully. The chemical route used for the synthesis influences the weight-average molar mass, the composition and the thermal properties of PCL-PEG copolymers synthesized.
