摘要
Tendencies in synthesis and properties of unsaturated polyesters based on fumaric acid and norbornene-2,3-dicarboxylic dianhydride are studied. The molecular weight, degree of cis-trans isomerization, and composition of polyesters prepared are determined by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy. The presence of endo and exo norbornene fragments in the polyester chain ensures high level of physicomechanical properties of cured resins. A series of formulations of unsaturated polyester resins exhibiting high levels of impact resilience, bending strength, hardness, and heat resistance are developed.
