Research on project management-oriented collaborative knowledge management system

Project Management (PM) is a knowledge-intensive work which requires a lot of knowledge, but also creates a lot of knowledge. Project management system with business process as the center separately is hard to meet the strategic needs of modem teaming organizations. In this article, after the analysis in features of Project Management and Knowledge Management, a Project Management-oriented Collaborative Knowledge Management System is put forward to give an approach to combine the theory and methods of Knowledge Management with Project Management business processes dynamically. And then a system framework to guide the implementation of such systems is designed. Such a system will support cooperatively the entire Project Management process to enhance the efficiency and intelligence of Project Management.
