Comparative liquid-phase mass transfer studies for dumped and structured packings

摘要：
Comparative studies are presented on the liquid-phase mass transfer for six metal ring dumped packings and five metal structured packings. The studies were conducted in a column 250 mm in diameter and for the system carbon dioxide-air-water. Based on the experimental results equations which describe the liquid-phase mass transfer coefficient for the packings investigated are developed.
