摘要
The kinetics of the esterification of acrylic acid with methyl and ethyl alcohols using sulphuric acid as a catalyst (0,5-3 wt. %) has been investigated. The study was conducted in an experimmtal, isothermal batch reactor with the initial molar ratio of alcohol to acrylic acid equal to 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1. The temperature was varied in the range of 39-75 degreesC. The kinetic equations and their parameters have been determined.
