摘要
There is presented the experimental information about the level of handle parameters of the knitting made from 5 different fibres, and their regular changes due to the chemical softening. The handle parameters of new fibre-forming polymers (polylactide, soybean protein, tencel and bamboo) are compared to the respective parameters of traditional fibres - cotton. All the research objects were knitted in the same terry-loop knitting from the threads of the same linear density (14.8 tex). The analysis of the handle was done using the KTU-Griff-Tester device. The different parameters of handle after treatment using cationic softener can be improved from 1.1 up to 3.5 times. These changes are dependent on the material nature. It is shown that linear relation between handle parameters and crystalline degree before and after treatment exists.
