摘要
Introduction: Obesity is considered one of the main public health problems. For the prevention and treatment of this condition, the National Health Promotion Policy was instituted in Brazil, which works together with the Unified Health System. Objective: To verify the actions and strategies reported in the last 10 years in the control and prevention of obesity in Primary Health Care in Brazil. Materials and Methods: Systematic review following PRISMA, researched on the VHL platform. Articles published between 2011 and 2021 were considered. Results: 113 articles were found based on the keywords, 97 were screened after elimination based on the context, population and study design, of which 16 articles were analyzed, with Intervention design, type before and after and quasi-experimental intervention, with adults, with an average follow-up of 7 months. Most of the studies worked on Food and Nutrition Education and used nutritional intervention programs. They used a control and intervention group strategy or performed pre -and post-intervention analysis. Of the studies that performed analysis between groups, improvement was observed in the intervention group in relation to eating habits and reduction of anthropometric measures, even identified in studies that performed pre and post intervention analysis. Conclusions: In view of the improvement observed in the anthropometric, dietary, biochemical profile and in the level of knowledge of the participants of the reviewed studies, the great impact of health interventions in the population assisted in primary care is seen, especially those related to food and nutrition education.
