摘要
The seam tracking system was discussed, which realizes accurate motion by the robot cross slipway and realizes the real time control by PMAC CNC card. The goal of this research is to develop a seam tracking system that is capable of locating the seam and controlling the torch position, orientation, and velocity in real-time. This seam tracking system could ensure that the laser beam makes accurate motion along the weld beam, so the welding quality would be improved. The results show that this seam tracking system is more responsive and accurate, and it has a good generality.
