摘要
Because of the large structure and movement ranges of heavy-duty CNC machine tools, some errors such as angle error of motion axis will be amplified under large movement ranges trip when machine tools assembled. It is necessary to verify the rationality of puny angle assumption that is the precondition in geometric error model for heavy-duty CNC machine tools. In this paper, the applicability of puny angle assumption in geometric error model for heavy-duty CNC machine tools is studied. First, approximation geometric error model based on the assumption of puny angle and precise geometric error model is established. Then, the influence of angle errors and the machine tools movement ranges for the accuracy of geometric error model is analyzed by changing the angle errors and the machine tools movement ranges. Finally, the applicability of puny angle assumption in geometric error model for heavy-duty CNC machine tools is put forward.
