摘要：
The take-up of mobile phones amongst young people has been more rapid and more extensive than expected. During the next few years further advances in mobile telephony will create opportunities for a range of new services based on, amongst others, higher bandwidth and context-aware features. The Youngsters project is an EU project aimed at developing a platform and services specifically for young people using this new technology. Although these services will cover a range of different applications, the healthcare domain is of particular importance and healthcare applications are being investigated.
