摘要
The paper presents the method of iron loss prediction in the switched reluctance motors. It is based on the modified core loss equation that is the results of transformation of original unit core loss equation, from frequency to time-domain. The method requires the knowledge of instantaneous magnetic flux density distribution, therefore a finite element model is elaborated for that purpose. The method is validated against measurements carried out on the laboratory test-rig for a small 100 Watt, two-phase motor supplied from single-pulse converter.
