Team Performance and Its Influential Factors: An Empirical Study Based on Creative Product Development Projects

摘要
Based on previous research achievements of team performance and the status of creative product development project of China creative organization, the paper develops a conceptual model of influential factors of team performance in creative product development projects. Using data from a nationwide survey of 238 members in creative product development projects we test the effects of personality and teamwork quality on team performance. The result shows that team member personality traits are positively related with team performance. The result of structural equation modeling(SEM) analysis shows that the relationship between personality and team performance is completely moderated by teamwork quality in that increases in teamwork quality increase.
