摘要
As China entered into WTO, the survival condition for the small and medium enterprises(SMEs) of construction in China became severe for the competition from both big construction enterprises home and strong ones abroad. How will those SMEs face with these challenges? There are many ways to improve corporate competitiveness. But in the time of knowledge economy, people, as the carrier of knowledge and talent, became the key point undoubtedly. Only manage and develop human resource according to one's own specialties can SMEs have a stand in the severe competition. This paper reports on research that has explored the perspectives of smaller employers with respect to the human resource crisis. This paper analyses the situation of human resource management of SMEs in construction, and try to reveal the causal factors behind this situation, at last, summarizes the practical solutions for firms attempting to operate in increasingly tight labor market conditions.
