摘要
Location-based service is often quoted as one of the killer applications of mobile commerce. However, there is no theoretical analysis on the real value of location information in location-based mobile services. In this paper we introduce four types of dispatching models and analyze how location information is obtained and used to support dispatch services. The value of GPS-based dispatching set-vices then is further analyzed through the case study of DaZhong Company in Shanghai, China.
