Modeling of the internal friction in liquids on the basis of rational parameters

摘要
A new approach to the analysis of the internal friction in liquids over a wide range of the parameters of state was proposed. The use of the coefficients of dynamic and kinematic viscosity in describing the transfer of momentum at various temperatures and pressures and in constructing property-property diagrams was shown to be limited. The notion of isomolar viscosity was introduced. An equation relating the characteristics of the internal friction in liquids and their volumetric properties was derived. This equation was shown to be suitable in extrapolation of the viscosities of liquids from normal to high pressures and temperatures.
