摘要
In the past few years we have witnessed a renaissance in hadron spectroscopy and a renewed interest in strong QCD interactions. RHIC has announced discovery of a new state of hadronic matter, characterised as a highly-correlated, low viscosity super-fluid. Several collider experiments have reported signals for new states the charmonium spectrum and with open charm. Not long ago the unusually large number of light-quark scalar resonances in the 1 - 2 GeV mass region was interpreted as a signature for the scalar glue-ball. The BNL E852 experiment announced discovery of light-quark hybrid mesons, and finally in the past couple of years several experiments have reported discovery of pentaquarks. In this talk I will review the status of the exotic hybrid mesons and the pentaquark.
