Study on Driver Method in Magnetostrictive Position Sensor

摘要
The magnetostrictive position sensor is a kind of displacement sensor utilized the magnetostrictive effect and inverse effect of magnetostrictive material. This essay discussed the influencing factors on the detected signal intensity such as the correlation parameter of driver method of this kind sensor. With different triggering period and impulse period of drive pulse, which are generated by the signal generator module of the sensor system, the experimental results showed different detected signal efficiency. Signal-to-Noise of induced waves signal and elastic waves signal under various experiments were recorded and discussed. The effect factors to detected signal include triggering period and impulse period were studied in theory. In the end, trigger parameters were determined and better signal results were detected.
