摘要
The matrix support methodology has presented evidence of its positive contribution to the resolution of Primary Care and the Multiprofessional Health Residency (MHR) programs meet this proposal by enabling professionals to act in an interdisciplinary way in health management. This study aimed to identify tools for matrix support oriented in the literature and analyze barriers and facilitators in the incorporation of these tools in an RMS program. A qualitative research with descriptive design and of single case study was conducted. This study included an integrative bibliographical review on the topic of tools for matrix support, and it used a participant observation technique to collect data from the case, which were analyzed searching for meaning between theory and concrete phenomena, barriers, and facilitators. The results identified eight matrix support tools recognized in the literature, all of which were incorporated into the observed MHR program's interdisciplinary activities. The main barriers and facilitators for the effective incorporation of the work routine tools were related to available workload, infrastructure, team profile, and presence of an active preceptor. Greater challenges were observed in achieving matrix support in the Primary Care Health Unit when compared to the activities carried out within the institution coordinating the program. We considered that exercising matrix support according to its proposal has been a challenge; however, professional qualification through MHR programs with an emphasis on the Family Health Strategy is a successful intersectoral initiative and has the potential to promote the implementation of the matrix support as a methodology of work in Primary Care.
