摘要
An attempt was made to determine the reason for the discrepancy between the 90Sr amount in the 30-km zone obtained and the generally accepted amount (δ3 PBq) determined from the 137Cs content 5.5 PBq. The 90Sr content in the soil was determined formally on the basis of relation by two methods using the average ratios of the contamination density. Since the 90Sr content calculated from the relations should be the same, the averages should satisfy the following relations in all territorial fragments. The arithmetic-mean values and harmonic-mean values as well as the desired ratios were calculated for them. Analysis of the experimental data on soil contamination in southern Gomel oblast showed that when the content of a radionuclide which fell out in fuel form is estimated on the basis of the 137Cs concentration the result can be understated.
