摘要
The growth of the ubiquitous computing requires network application servers to be adaptive and scalable. The adaptability and scalability we call here are the capability to provide stable services even if requests will exceed predefined limit, to add or remove some functions and to cooperate with other services on demand dynamically. This article addresses its necessity and describes the design and implementation of our adaptive framework, which adopts mobile agent technology. This framework supports the dynamic adaptation and reduces the maintenance cost of server administrators. In addition, to prove the usability of our framework, we implement a sample application and evaluate through ail experiment.
