摘要
The paper reports influence of samarium substitution on the properties of a PZT composition near MPB. Samarium (Sm) was varied from 0 to 0.02/FU. The samples were prepared by standard double sintering ceramic method. XRD analysis showed all samples to be of single phase. Dielectric properties were studied as a function of temperature and frequency. All the samples show well defined ferroelectric behaviour. Remanence ratio (P-r/P-s) was found to increase with increasing Sm concentration. Piezoelectric change coefficient d(33) decreases with increase in Sm.
