摘要
The article deals with the development of an electromechanical device for generating impulses of electromagnetic torque. The device is a generator of mechanical impulses (GMI), designed to apply brake impulses to rotating shafts of technological machines. It is noted that the existing methods for generating mechanical impulses do not satisfy modern requirements for the elemental base of electrical equipment with regard to reliability and autonomy. The study is based on the use of unstable states of a nonlinear electromechanical system, which determines its scientific significance. The problem of the study is to develop a method for generating mechanical impulses involving implementation in an autonomous electromechanical device. The study also researches the engineering development of such device. The device realizing the proposed method of mechanical impulses generation presents a short-circuit direct current generator of series excitation, in which the elements of the magnetic conductor are made of steel with a nonzero residual magnetization flux and a convex downward shape of the magnetization curve in the low current field. The modeling results are presented. The practical importance of the study is in the fact that it allows increasing reliability and reducing the cost and complexity of mechanical impulses generation. The method of mechanical impulses generation is practically directed to its use in classical-type generators, which makes technical implementation of the device in a wide power range possible.
