摘要
By the time that college students are preparing to make their final research, it is quite common to find that these students do not have the necessary skills to push through that challenge successfully by themselves. Despite they have been writing a lot of essays and other tasks during the years before, it is a fact that its realization has not been a real training in order to achieve competencies that will come out naturally to solve the point by their own. They do not have the competencies to know where to find the reliable sources, and how they can get documented in order to form their own opinion on the matter. Clearly assigning a mentor to guide them in carrying out that task is essential, but often what initially would be a task to lead the direction of the subject-matter, their tutors must begin by educating students on formal issues and research methodology. This paper aims to provide some ideas to supply students with a proper basis and competencies that would enable that they reach the final phase of their academic degree prepared enough, being a consequence of this approach that the role of tutor would be limited on the technical and methodological issues of the research.
