摘要
Internet protocol (IP) distribution has brought many changes to the ways that content can be delivered to stations. However, by leveraging this technology to create a migration of IP capability deep into the station workflow, digital content management can then benefit the stations. Until now, content distribution to stations has been largely a blindfolded process, with few tools to enable stations to standardize or manage multiple content streams. But IP connectivity enabling interfaces to existing infrastructure and compatibility with emerging new technologies in play-to-air, ad insertion, archives, etc., means that the station can benefit directly from the method of delivery selected.
